Customer Guide: What We Need to Quote Your Commercial LED Strip Lighting set-up.

Area and Run Measurements
Provide accurate measurements for all areas where LED strip lights will be installed. Commercial spaces often include multiple zones, such as offices, retail displays, hospitality areas, corridors, industrial zones and kitchens/bathrooms. Precise dimensions for each area, ensure the correct lengths, quantities and accessories are supplied.

Type of LED Strip Light
Specify the type of LED strip lights needed for each area. Options include standard, high-density, LED strip. COB, RGB/RGBW, pixel chasing, or dual white, depending on whether the focus is on task lighting, branding effects, decorative ambience or, functional coverage.

Brightness Level
Indicate the brightness required for different zones. For example:

Workstations / Offices: higher brightness for productivity
Retail Displays: medium to high brightness to highlight products
Hospitality / Reception Areas: softer ambient lighting for mood
Corridors / Common Areas: general illumination for safety and navigation

Preferred Colour Temperature
Choose the colour tone for each area: RGBW colour changing, warm white, natural white, cool white or, dual white. This allows functional lighting in work areas, ambient lighting in hospitality spaces and dynamic branding effects in retail zones.

Custom Length Requirements
Confirm if you require the LED strip lights to be supplied pre-cut with soldered cable tails to exact lengths for different zones - such as shelving runs, ceiling coves or, display features.

Connection and Link Cable Needs
Indicate if link cables are required to navigate corners, tight bends, or separate runs where direct connections aren’t possible. This is particularly important in complex layouts with multiple zones.

Power Supply and Wattage
Provide the total LED strip run lengths per zone so the correct driver size, wattage and number of power supplies can be calculated. Commercial setups may require multiple drivers for different areas.

Dimming or Smart Controls
Indicate whether you require TRIAC dimmable constant voltage LED drivers (mains dimming), or other control options such as hand held remote control, wireless wall controller, or smart/app-based systems.

Aluminium Channels or Diffusers
If applicable, let us know if you require surface-mounted, recessed, floor or plaster-in channels, each come complete with mounting clips and diffuser, depending on aesthetic preferences, visibility, or durability needs in each space.

Visibility Considerations
Clarify whether the LED strip lights will be hidden (under shelving, coves, behind panels or exposed around signage, display units or ceilings, as this determines the type of LED strip light and style of channel / diffuser you may need.

IP Rating Requirements
Specify if standard indoor strips are sufficient or if splash-proof/ dust-proof, or higher IP-rated options are needed.

Include any unique details to your space.
